I have been slacking on the reviews. I have been busy with work and never got around to keeping my reviews updated. I know I have a lot to write about. Lots of great places to review.

Business Review:International Book Centre - Shelby Township, MI

International Book Centre is a cute little bookstore. When I first walked in here for the first time I was greeted by the friendly staff. They were helpful in helping me find a book that I could learn a new language. They not only have foreign language and ESL books they have other miscellaneous merchandise from t-shirts to jewelry.

I'll be going to California in 3 weeks and I haven't had a out of state review since last year so I am excited to be reviewing some new places. The one review I am looking forward to  is The Painted Nail in Sherman Oaks, CA. I heard about this place through their show on the TV Guide Channel Nail Files. It's up the road from where my sister lives I have passed it quite a few times last year. So I am making a appointment to try it.I am in need of a Mani/Pedi. From the photos I've seen and walking past it, it's a cute place. So stay tuned to that review and many more.

Buisiness Review: Gigi's Cupcakes - Clinton Township, MI

I had passed by Gigi's Cupcakes. I thought this was a new Michigan business. I researched their website and come to find out that it wasn't. It's originally from Memphis, TN. The next week I went online and ordered half a dozen cupackes like I always do to anyothe cupcake place I went to.

I went to the one in Clinton Township. This is a cute little shop. The logo is also cute. I was expecting really good cupcakes but I was disappointed. These cupcakes are HUGE by huge I mean they have way to much frosting on them. I tried all the cupcakes that I got and only one was decent to enjoy. I will not be coming back again.

It's better to give then recieve

I am all about giving. It makes me feel good to know that no matter what I give from a gift to a compliment. I don't expect something in return. My Business Spotlight is a a form of free advertising that I like to promote local businesses especially if their small businesses. A lot of advertising cost money but my Business Spotlight is free and it's the web word of mouth. Even though I have been kind of busy and haven't had time to post anymore Business Spotlights I do have some time and will try to get that back in the process.

I was going to do my Business Spotlight every week but now it will be for the month after that I pick them. I am working on my next Business Spotlight for June. So it will be announced sometime at the end of May.
